Heather was delighted to attend the announcement at Derby College yesterday, where Derby was selected as the new national headquarters for Great British Railways, marking a key milestone in the government’s plan to reform the nation’s railways.
As Europe’s largest rail hub, Derby will soon become the heart of Great Britain’s rail industry, bringing track and train together by delivering high-skilled jobs to a city already brimming with the best talent in the industry.
Heather says:
“They’ll love being here, it’s a great place to live. They’ve got over 200 rail companies on their doorstep, which makes Derby the best place for GBR to be based”.
