Masterclass: International Exhibitions
Hallmark Hotel Derby, Mickleover DE3 0XX
11 May 2017, 13:15 – 16:45
Event details:
Attending exhibitions overseas is seen by many companies as a good way of launching their products and services into new markets, of finding new customers in existing markets, of building their brand, and supporting their overseas partners. However, they also know that exhibitions can be expensive in terms of both money and time and want to be sure that they make the most of the opportunities provided by them.
Masterclass Description
This half-day masterclass puts international trade shows into context; considering the reasons why a company might participate at an exhibition, the types of events open to them (exhibitions of all types, conferences and individual tailored events/launches), selecting the most appropriate event, and then encourages delegates to set SMART objectives for each event.
The masterclass covers the stages of preparation and planning before the event, on-site activities and strategies, and the important follow up actions needed after the event. The vocabulary of exhibitions is explained, tips are provided for getting an edge over other exhibitors and some common pitfalls highlighted.
Outcome
This event will provide you with a clear strategy for:
• Choosing the right event for your business
• Ensuring that you maximise the return for your outlay - in terms of both time and money
• Establishing a framework for follow up post event
Registration
There is a charge of just £50+VAT per delegate. However, those companies participating in our Passport to Export programme may attend at a reduced cost. Due to demand we are only able to offer 1 place per company, and priority will be given to companies from the East Midlands region.
