Heather visited the Church Gresley Methodist Church recently to listen to a joint concert, performed by the Leaside Singers and the Boundary Singers, in celebration of local choirs and the best of music.
Both choirs are based in Church Gresley and perform regular concerts often including a variety of tunes ranging from the west end classics of Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber and Steven Sondheim to covers of popular songs by the likes of the Beatles and Westlife.

“As always, I really enjoyed my most recent visit to Church Gresley to hear the fantastic sound of two of our best local choirs in South Derbyshire. I particularly enjoyed the rendition of ‘Oom-Pah-Pah’ from the musical of Oliver! I would greatly encourage anybody the local area and beyond who enjoy good music to keep their ears to the ground for news of their next meeting.”
