After further government roles were confirmed on Wednesday 27th May I am delighted to announce I am now the Parliamentary Private Secretary to John Whittingdale OBE MP the recently appointed Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport. It was a pleasure and a privilege to serve in my previous role as PPS to the Attorney General Jeremy Wright MP and I would like to take this opportunity to thank him as well as all those at the department for all their hard work.
The Department of Culture, Media and Sport encompasses so many aspects of life that affect us here in South Derbyshire that I am really looking forward to the new challenges ahead, whether it is enhancing sporting opportunities or better Broadband locally and nationally, amongst a myriad of issues, it is a fascinating brief to take on and I am delighted the Prime Minister has asked me to do this.
