I wanted to thank everyone who voted for me in South Derbyshire and I am honoured to have been re-elected as your Member of Parliament in the 2019 General Election, a role I have undertaken since 2010. I was delighted to have been returned with an increased majority of 19,335 polling 62.8% of the vote.
Boris Johnson’s decisive majority of 80 will enable us to finally break the deadlock, move on as a country and focus on the things that matter to you. We can deliver Brexit, unite our country and secure new trade deals to help unleash Britain’s potential.
As your MP I am committed to securing more Police Officers in South Derbyshire, investing in our NHS, recruiting more Doctors and Nurses and giving our children the education they deserve.
I am also keen to work together with all parties to find a solution to social care to ensure that adults and children receive the care and support they deserve.
I will continue to work hard to make sure the people of South Derbyshire have a strong voice in Westminster, representing everyone regardless of how you voted.
