I was privileged to attend to attend the Remembrance Sunday service yesterday at Swadlincote Memorial Gates. In its 100th year, I want to thank the Royal British Legion for its support of our ex-service community.
They continue to educate new generations about the sacrifice both past and active armed servicemen and servicewomen have made for our freedom.
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, we will remember them.
